The dark force known as the Anti-Monitor, the malevolent counterpart of the Monitor, is unleashed upon the vast DC Multiverse, embarking on a destructive rampage across the myriad Earths within it. In a desperate bid to combat this dire threat, the Monitor reaches out to heroes from various corners of the Multiverse for aid. However, before his plans can come to fruition, the Monitor meets a tragic demise at the hands of his formidable foe.
